Cathy's 50th Birthday

The 4th

We celebrated the 4th with a cookout (in the rain I might add, lol), good friends, and ended it with a trip to Carroll County Ag. Center for fireworks. Arriving home at 1am, all that was left to do was get some sleep!

Walkersville Fireworks

The day before the 4th of July, I went to walkersville with some friends to watch the fireworks...they weren't as good as some of the ones I've seem before, but it was fun hanging out with friends, and going to a carnival, which I haven't been to since I was like 7, lol!

Strawberry Babies

I went strawberrie picking with some friends yesterday outside of Thurmont. One of my friends has a one and two year old. It was such a blast "trying" to get done the picking with children! They were really good though and kept everyone on their toes and laughing! I think we probably should have weighed them along with our berries before leaving! We were however able to get like six bowls full in less then two hours...so I think that was pretty good! lol! Love you guys!

I was going through some pictures the other day and just remembering days passed. So I decided to do a few post with older pictures and memories. These will be random, (Senios, some of these are for you) but hey somethimes different is nice. So here goes...

Dare the Dads

On Friday night while at John's house, some of the dads decided they'd make a good team taking on the "young" guys...and so the challenge began and continued on Sunday where they once again took the field. After a father/daughter game (if you could call it that, lol), arranged by the daughters and reluctantly agreed upon by the dads, they proceeded to take on the guys! Wow!!! It was amazing to watch them play and even more amazing they were still able to go to work this morning! :-)

Volleyball's Back!!!

Last night we had a huge get together to play sports and fellowship. What fun it was to laugh and enjoy each others company. Even the adults played volleyball; amazingly we didn't need to call 911 from any of them passing out or getting hurt!! lol! And they actually were really good!!Thank God we did it on a Friday night though, because playing volleyball til 1:00am made for some pretty tired people today!
