After weeks of being to busy to post, I'm finally getting around to updating this blog. I'm not sure if anyone even reads it anymore, (please sign your name if you do), but I figured I'd do it anyhow! If nothing else it should make for a good conversation with myself...I hope!!! Below are just a few pictures and highlights from the last past month....
We started off our December doing a fun raised for Voice of the Martyrs (VOM), an organization that helps the persecuted church (for more info. on VOM click here). My family owns part of an old tree farm and so we were able to sell Christmas trees to raise money and awareness. It was such a blessing to work together as a family and I think it was especially good for all of our little ones, who got to be involved by making cookies and hot chocolate to sell.
Speaking of cookies...My sisters and I did over 2,000 of them this year. Not including all the other Christmas baking. We started giving cookies to all of my dad's builders a few years back for Christmas gifts (we have a family run drywall business) and it just stuck. We're up to about 80 dozen now, and that's just for business people, on top of that we do them for our family parties, family, friends, neighbors, and LOTS of hungry brothers!! Needless to say it takes a good bit of time...but the end results are always fun!
This is what the packages look like when they are finished!
We also attended a birthday party for one of our pastor's son's. Happy 20th Birthday JB!!
Lots more to tell but that will have to wait for a part II, so until next time, God bless and Happy New Year 2007!

Wow, what you do for VotM is fantastic. Also, baking over 2k of cookies is incredible!
You get a 10/10 for serving others. :)
