A New Beginning

As the majority of you will already know, my friend Jen and I started a bog together called "The Wheatfield", at the beginning of the year. Since then Jen has gone back to school and with that has decided to stop writing for the time. With her absence, I decided to begin a whole new blog on my own, while still keeping the old one for those who might be interested in seeing the past posts.

With that being said, I formally WELCOME you to “Becoming New” and pray that you might find it in some small way to be an encouragement. One thing I am always afraid of in doing this, is that because I’m human, people will see things in my life that didn’t mirror what I am writing, thus thinking me a hypocrite. That said, I’d like to say up front that it’s not because I am an expert at following Christ that I write. I write because Christ is always showing me how far I still have left to go. And so, these writings are from a heart that is very thankful that God doesn’t give up on me, and is patiently teaching me new things every day. It’s because I am so very week, that I know I need Him so very much. Thank you for visiting and I hope that each of you find your source of strength in your Lord and Savior. Blessings!
